The following information is available for Church Response:
Church Response is a Christian outreach organization that came about after the Black Hills flood of 1972 as a way for local churches to work together to serve those in the Rapid City community who could use a helping hand.
Church Response was founded in 1972 after the Rapid City flood, to provide emergency assistance to people in need. The needs of displaced flood victims decreased, but the need for continued assistance became apparent. We help people in the Rapid City area with emergency assistance for food, toiletries, utilities, and birth certificates and pictures IDs.
